CZ Infrared™
BLUE Edition - With Bio-Smart Air Filtration Technology

| Now with Bio-Smart™ Air Filtration Technology |
The new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters eliminate the harmful airborne bacteria and pathogens that are the source of your families winter illnesses.
The new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater models are designed to solve the age old problem associated with re-circulating indoor air during the winter months when the home is sealed up to prevent heat-loss. Colds and flue are spread through contaminated air and surfaces. One sneeze and everyone in the family gets to share the Nyquil. We all know what this means in time-off from work, doctors visits and missed days at school. The solution is in the new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater. This system is used in major hotels and is sold exclusively by Earthwise. Now the benefits of Bio-Smart™ air filtration have been incorporated into the new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater.
The Bio-Smart™ air filtration unit inside the new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters is a time-tested system that was patented first in 1987 by the founder of EarthWise. Subsequent patents have followed as the technology has advanced through the years. The system consists of an electrostatic pre-filter, a gas-absorption cartridge for odor removal, an ultraviolet light for germicidal disinfection, a TIO2 membrane for both germicidal and hydrocarbon break-down and an ionization module for both mood enhancement (winter blues) and to increase efficiency of heat transfer through the room. The air purification system can also be turned on or off independently of the heat exchanger in the CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater. To read and understand more about this patented system and why it has been incorporated into the new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters.
Extended bulb life of 30,000 hours.
The tubes are longer and the new 115 volt tubes, vs. the old 60 volt tubes, are more efficient producing 4% more of optimal infrared frequencies for maximum health or therapeutic value.
The new elements operate at 115 volts instead of the industry standard of 60 volts because of the increased efficiency. Most electricians will agree with the math on this figure because they know what happens to efficiency when the operating voltage is increased.
The spiral metal refractor was removed from the elements. The refractor is an off-the-shelf item that is used in industrial applications to enhance diffusion of the infrared energy, however, through extensive research and testing, new models of CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters utilize a different process to diffuse the infrared energy throughout the entire heating chamber. The new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters do not contain the refractors that were previously surrounding the elements of the heater, even though Bruce Searle, the developer of the CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater owns a patent on the heating coil itself.
New Copper Lined Heating Chamber |
Each unit now has three copper panels instead of two and a newly designed heating chamber. Multiple copper fins have been added to one of the panels in the unit to increase copper surface area by more than 300% compared to the previous CZ Infrared™ models manufactured by Well Electronics. The copper fins blend the infrared radiation being emitted from the infrared tubes into a more uniform pattern, producing a strong infrared heat pattern. By modifying the internal dynamics in this way, CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters maintain all the benefits that the prior heater had but simultaneously eliminate the drag to airflow caused by the coil in the previous design. More copper surface area means more heat generated at the targeted far infrared heat frequency needed to produce optimal therapeutic results. This again contributes to the 4% efficiency increase over last year's model. The copper diffuser/fins enhance the production of negative ions. This new configuration not only increases the overall amount of heat produced but also enhances negatively charged, ionized water molecules which travel rapidly across the room to penetrate the objects in the room.
• The heater now has two different power settings 750 watts and 1500 watts. The 750 Watt power setting is “super quiet” for bedroom situations.
• All of the heater's features are accessed with a single button press on the display or the remote.
• To achieve the lower setting only two bulbs are used instead of the full four. Using the low setting cuts the amperage requirement in half making it perfect for environments with limited available amps or crowded circuits like RVs or Boats.
• The lower power setting also reduces the fan speed making the heater, “super quiet”.
